Varan is a 10-50 meter tall Earth-defending kaiju. He can fly at mach 1.5 using the membranes between his legs.
His roar has been used for the Showa Baragon and even Gorosaurus. Also, since King Ghidorah replaced Varan in "Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah: giant monsters all-out attack," the suit designer made Ghidorah have Varan's facial features, since Varan was his favorite kaiju.
